The USP Master Certificate of Pharmacopeial Quality Assessment‒Spectroscopy Track offers the U.S. pharmaceutical Industry a comprehensive online program that highlights the knowledge and skills the quality assessment professional should have in order to comply with U.S. regulatory standards and the knowledge and skills required to be aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices. Designed and taught by the experts who help establish relevant USP-NF standards, the USP certificate program has three tracks each with eleven courses. The courses in this program were carefully selected by USP scientists to provide a long-lasting theoretical foundation and feature practical applications so you can have an immediate impact on your job and take your career to the next level. Certificate participants will have six months from the date of purchase to complete the program.
The Goals of the USP Certificate of Pharmacopeial Quality Assessment – Spectroscopy Track
- Recognize how and when to apply USP Spectroscopy standards for pharmaceutical ingredients or medicines.
- Appreciate how USP standards relate to applicable FDA guidance and how they compare with other standard-setting organizations such as ICH and the European and Japanese Pharmacopeias.
- Learn how to actively participate in the USP standards-setting process and the role the PF has in communicating upcoming changes.
- Use USP standards to set up, calibrate and qualify the measurement of instruments and/or equipment.
- Determine acceptance criteria and perform system suitability tests to verify that equipment or systems are adequate for an analysis.
- Select appropriate statistical tools to generate data and interpret test results.
